The Department of English,D.B.college,Sasthamcotta commemorated Prof. P.K.Padmanabhan Nair and Prof G.Rajkumar, the victims of the Perumon tragedy , on 8th July 2011. College Principle Dr.K.Mohanakumar presided over the meeting . Dr.R.S.Rajeev, H.O.D of the Dept of Malayalam delivered a lecture in re reading in poetry. It was a glowing tribute to the fond memories of the reputed members of the faculty of English . Prof T.G.Ranganathan, former H.O.D of English also reminisced the dear departed. Prof B.Salim welcomed the gathering and Prof. R.S.Kala proposed the vote of thanks.
