ശാസ്താംകോട്ട ഡി.ബി.കോളേജില്‍ ബോധി പ്രഭാഷണ പരമ്പര ആരംഭിച്ചിട്ട് ഇത് മൂന്നാം വര്‍ഷമാണ്‌ .
മുന്‍ വര്‍ഷങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്തമായി ഇക്കുറി വിവിധ വിഷയങ്ങളെ ഏകോപിപ്പിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുള്ളതായിരുന്നു.
മലയാളം, ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്, സംസ്കൃതം, എന്നീ മൂന്നു വിഭാഗങ്ങള്‍ ചേര്‍ന്ന്
Literary Criticism-Oriental Occidental-Compared എന്ന പൊതു തലക്കെട്ടില്‍ 07.12.2009- നു പ്രഭാഷണങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തി . പ്രൊഫ :എം. തോമസ്‌ മാത്യു മുഖ്യ പ്രഭാഷണം ചെയ്തു.
15 വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികളുടെ പ്രബന്ധങ്ങള്‍ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു.
